She is juggling an enlarged Pokeball, trying to decide what the fate of the Pokemon within shall be. Omelette the baby Chansey is waddling around the area, and Minax's Zubat circles the Chansey, protecting her since he knows that the little egg is important to Minax. "I do already have four Pokemon... Plus, Pidgey are rather useless." Minax speaks to herself while tossing the Pokeball stolen from Cajava from one hand to the other, "Or *are* they? I heard stories about Dreadite's Pidgey being faster than speeding Electrode, more powerful than a herd of Tauros, and able to leap the Silph Co. building in a single flap!" Omelette happily marches onward, heading straight for a large ditch! The nearby Zubat's eyes would go wide if he actually had eyes. Instead, his ears perk up, and guiding himself based on sound alone, he zooms over towards where Omelette is. He gently grabs the Pokemon with his maw, careful not to sink his fangs into his master's beloved Chansey. Minax hears all the action going on behind her, and she turns around, "ZUBAT! Drop Omelette, immediately! If anyone's going to eat that Chansey, it's going to be me." The Zubat does as ordered. Minax wags her finger at her Zubat, "I trust you to take care of Omelette, and you try to *take care* of Omelette. Bad, bad, Zubat." The small blue Zubat's head droops down in shame, and he lets out a low sigh over the misunderstanding, "Zuuuu..." Before Minax can further scold her Zubat, she hears some noises in the distance. She turns her ear towards the place where the the noises originate, brushes her red hair away from her ear with her fingertips, and listens. Since her sense of hearing is almost as strong as her Zubat's, she can hear what is going on far away from where she is sitting: Bandraptor wrote: > The Wartortle sneered, "RUBIX! Minax smirks, "It would be an excellent gift for the Boss... On second thought, if it's so wonderful, I can keep it for myself, and give the Boss the Pidgey." Minax chuckles a little when she realizes her own unintentional innuendo, "I've been meaning to give the Boss the Pidgey for over a year now." >"NORI! THUNDERBOLT ATTACK!!!" Minax blinks. She recognizes the voice. "Where have I heard that voice before? Was she the one who so generously gave me a Magmar to eat? Nah. Come to think of it, I recognize the other voice to." Minax strokes her chin as if it would help her remember who the people are, "That first voice didn't belong to a trainer. That was a Wartortle! Not just any Wartortle, it was that moronic Wartortle. The one I met when the Poke-Ball in Cerulean was burning to the ground..." Omelette the baby Chansey waddles next to Minax, and hops up and down, begging to be cradled. Minax's Zubat, his job of being the baby Pokemon's protector complete, perches on Minax's shoulder, and folds his wings. Minax turns her head to the side, "You wouldn't remember anything from that night, Zubat. You were out cold after foolishly getting in the way of that kid's Nidorino to protect me from his Poison Sting." "Zuuuu..." The Zubat starts to clean himself under his wings, unsure of what Minax is talking about, "Zuuubat..." Minax grabs Omelette with one hand in a very un-motherly fashion and stands up. She places the Chansey in the sack on her belt, but the little Pokemon starts weeping since she wanted more attention than that. Minax quickly gets annoyed by the crying, and closes her bag, leaving only a tiny air hole for Omelette. Minax starts marching in the direction from where the noise is coming from, her Zubat still perched on her shoulder, "I'm going to steal this Water Pokemon named Rubix, and this Electric Pokemon named Nori, whoever they belong to, and ask questions later." Zubat almost falls off of Minax's shoulder when she starts walking faster, but he uses his wings to stay balanced. When Minax abruptly stops, the Zubat loses his balance and topples to the ground, "Zuu?" "Wait. Nori? I think that's the name of that girl who I saved..." Minax raises an eyebrow, "And I suppose that would make Rubix her Wartortle. I don't know if I should steal from her. After all, she looked like a potential Team Rocket member. Well, maybe I could be true to my Rocket nature for once, and try to recruit her. If she's on this path, she's most likely headed for Celadon. I'll meet up with her there. Let the corruption... begin!" Minax races onward towards Celadon City to get there before Nori, her airborne Zubat flapping his wings quickly to catch up to his fast master! -Minax
