From: ScytherNMk <scythernmk@yahoo.com> Subject: [PW!]The 'Reunion' Date: Friday, October 22, 1999 3:19 PM Zero watched the Abra, Deckus. His power was beyond anything Zero had seen before. He moved so fast it appeared he was teleporting, or maybe he was? Deckus kicked the Voltorb again, sending it flying at an amazing speed. In an instant Deckus was in the path of the Voltorb, and pounded it with his fist into the ground. “So, what did you think?” asked Deckus. “Well, it was…amazing” replied a stunned Zero. Deckus laughed. “I’m actually very old, even though it doesn’t slow me down at all. I’ve trained my whole life, under Sabrina,” said Deckus. Zero nodded, “Well, its going to take a bit to get used to this superpower on my team.” Deckus floated down to the ground, “I’d like to head to Celadon City, I have some unfinished business, if that’s ok with you.” “Fine here, maybe we can get some Grass Pokemon while we’re there,” replied Zero. “Ok, we should be able to make it to Celadon if we start walking now,” said Deckus. Zero nodded, and started walking. Deckus floated behind him, looking around constantly, in case any trouble would occur. The sun was shining brightly over the road; it was almost noon. Zero shielded his eyes from the bright light. Suddenly the light was blocked out by something. Deckus looked up, to see a large black balloon. A man, a Woman, and a Meowth leapt out, landing swiftly. “To protect the world from devastation,” started the man. Before they could continue, Deckus interrupted, “You guys again? Don’t you ever learn?” The man looked up, “What do you mean?” Deckus laughed. “Jessie and James of Team Rocket… so pathetic I’m almost sorry for them, but almost doesn’t count” he said. “YOU FORGOT ABOUT MEEH!” screamed Meowth. He leapt foreword at Deckus. Deckus held out his hand, and released a powerful blast of Psychic Energy. Meowth was sent flying into James. James yelled, but was knocked off his heels by the flying cat. Jessie watched in horror, as Deckus turned to her. Suddenly Deckus was gone, Jessie turned around to see him behind her. “How does he do that?” she screamed. Before she could do anything, Deckus had grabbed her head, and slammed her into the ground with amazing force. Zero laughed as he watched the slaughter. Deckus grabbed Jessie by the foot, and threw her directly into James and Meowth. One of Jessie’s Pokeballs rolled out from under her, and opened. “Liki!”. The Lickitung surveyed the area, and soon figured out what was happening. He shot his tongue out at Deckus. Deckus wasn’t’ paying attention, and was hit by the long, sticky, pink tongue. At first he wasn’t hurt, but then Lickitung licked him. He froze, and soon fell to the ground paralyzed. “DECKUS!” yelled Zero. He turned to the Lickitung, and released Scyther. Scyther appeared, ready for battle. Saliva dripped from his mouth. He was craving for blood. Suddenly he was gone, and Lickitung was being slashed by what appeared to be nothing. Lickitung swung his tongue at the attacker. Scyther saw the tongue, but it was too late. It wrapped around him, suspending him. “SCYYYYYYYYYYYYY” he screamed. Zero watched in horror. The Lickitung released its grip on the Scyther. Scyther rolled on the ground, then fainted. The Lickitung charged at Zero, getting ready to stomp him. Zero grabbed his sword, and stood in a ready position. The Lickitung was about an inch away from Zero, when it suddenly was knocked off its feet, then pounded back into the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust. When the wind blew away the dust, it revealed a Hitmonchan and a trainer, standing by the Lickitungs’ fainted body. Zero looked closely at the trainer. When he got a clear look, he almost fainted. He saw… himself? “W-Who are you?” asked Zero. The trainer didn’t answer. He appeared to be just as stunned as Zero was. Finally, he replied, “Onesen Ikaro.” Zero was even more amazed. “And who are you?” asked Onesen. “Z-Zerosen Ikaro.” Onesen looked just as amazed as Zero. “You can call me Zero,” said Zero. Onesen murmured, “You can call me One.” “Who is your father?” asked Zero. “I don’t know, I was abandoned at a young age, so I don’t remember anything. A kind man took care of me, until he died of a heart disease,” replied One. Zero was even more amazed. He remembered when his father told him about his missing son. “My father once told me, about a missing son…” said Zero. “Do you think I’m that missing son?” asked One. Zero nodded. “That means, that we’re brothers,” said One. Zero slowly nodded again. “Well, anyway, both of my Pokemon are worn out pretty bad, do you have anything that can get us back to Saffron?” asked Zero. “Yeah, Here goes,” said One. He tossed out a Pokeball. “SPEAAAROW” screamed the bird. Zero asked, “How is that supposed to carry us?” One thought for a minute, then said “He can take your Pokeballs to the Saffron Center, and we’ll tie a note to him, so they know what to do.” Zero nodded, then recalled both of his injured Pokemon. He took out a piece of notepaper, and scribbled a note onto it. He stuck the note onto one of the Pokeballs, then put them in the Spearows’ talons. One told him what to do, then pointed to the sky. The Spearow flew off like a rocket. “Now come on, lets’ get going” said Zero. One nodded, and they started jogging back to Saffron. Minutes passed… then hours. They seemed to be making no progress. Just as Zero was about to give up, One shouted out, “There it is! Saffron City!” Zero looked up, then began to run faster. When they reached the inner area of the city, Zero started walking. One came running behind, exhausted. “Where were you?” asked Zero. “Right behind you, do you know how fast you run?” asked One. Zero laughed, then shook his head. “Well, anyway, lets get to the Center,” said One. Soon enough, they arrived at the Pokecenter. Spearow was sitting on a piece of wood hanging off the ceiling, and Scyther and Deckus were sitting on the sofa, doing nothing. Joy walked up to him, “So I see your Pokemon were injured in a battle, but who were you fighting?” Zero looked at the floor, “Team Rocket… They got lucky.” One spoke up, “That Lickitung wasn’t normal, Team Rocket couldn’t have trained it…” Zero nearly fainted. That Lickitung WASN’T even in control of itself, it must have been Shadow, he probably possessed the Lickitung, hoping to defeat Zero. Zero looked at Deckus. Deckus slowly nodded, as if acknowledging that it was Shadow. “Well, I’m sure you’ll have the luck next time,” said Joy, then she walked off. “Didn’t we finish him off?” asked Zero. Deckus slowly shook his head. One was confused, “Am I missing something? Who did you finish off?” “It’s a long story, but I’ll tell you,” replied Zero. “For a while, I was possessed by a very strange Haunter… Its power was huge. He went to fight Sabrina, in my body. Deckus, who was Sabrinas’ then, easily defeated my Scyther. Shadow, the Haunter, then left my body, to fight Deckus. Deckus finished him off, or it appeared. That Lickitung was possessed by Shadow…” One looked surprised. “But my Hitmonchan finished it off so easily, and Deckus is way more powerful than him,” said One. “The Lickitung hit Deckus by surprise… and your Hitmonchan hit Lickitung by surprise. It seems like everything is about the first hit,” explained Zero. One nodded. “Well, what are we going to do?” asked One, “I don’t know…” Deckus floated up to them. “I say we train. We train till we cant train anymore,” There was a moment of silence, then everybody nodded. “Also, I could get us some technical assistance from Silph Co,” said Deckus. “Ok, well, lets go get that “Technical Assistance”,” said One. Zero whistled, signaling Scyther to get up. One returned Spearow to his Pokeball, and released Hitmonchan. “Lets get going,” said Zero. TBC?? -- ScytherNMk 5+ Posts to AGNP! WOO! Uncle Sig Wants you!
