"What a wonderful morning. Stardust, come here. Put that down Stardust." Stardust found playing with every toy in Dust's room to be the most enjoyable thing in the world. Too bad Stardust was the only one who thought that way. "Here, let's get some food huh?" "Fairy!" Stardust pranced happily down the stairs into the kitchen. Dust's mom was making pancakes and eggs. "Are you hungry too?" "Fairy Fairy!" She hands her a plate of food and she scarfs it down. "Stardust, you'll ruin your appetite that way." "Oh Dust, me and your father are very proud of you. Now, you just be careful out there and be the best you can be. But I know that you'll be the best of them all. Good luck son, call us some time." She gives Dust his breakfast and he eats on the way down from Mt. Moon Village. "Stardust, we are going to be a great team. Now, where are we supposed to go first?" "Fairy, Clefairy." "Oh yeah, Prof. Oak. His lab's in Pallet, let's go!" Stardust hoped onto Dust's shoulder and they headed towards Pewter City for Pallet Town. Along the way, Dust encountered another trainer. "Hey, you're that kid from Mt. Moon right? I hear you're pretty descent, let's see if you can beat me." "Fair enough, Stardust go!" Dust's Clefairy leapt into action. "I call Sandshrew!" "Haha, Stardust, sing, but concentrate on Sandshrew and no one else." Stardust produced a set of earmuffs and proceeded to putting them on Sandshrew. She plugged the other end into a mic and began singing. Sandshrew fell asleep instantly. "Oh man, you are good. Ok, I give up. Sandshrew return. So, where ya headed?" "Pallet Town. Gotta meet Professor Oak to get my own pokédex and pokéballs." "You're gonna compete for badges and stuff?" "Yeah." "That's awesome. Hey, I heard a rumor about the pokémon league games coming to Indigo Plateau next month. Maybe they'll let you in." "I don't know. They probably won't. But even if I can't, I'll just continue my journey. I'm gonna get every badge, not just the regular eight. I'll be the world's greatest trainer!" "Ok ok, cya around Dust." The boy went back to hunting pokémon to build up his team. "All right Stardust, you first victory. Now, it's on to Pallet!" Dust and Stardust walk towards Pewter City on the way to Pallet Town. Together, they know their dreams will come true one day. "Hey, put that down!" Stardust gives him back some of the goodies Dust's mom had packed.
