But after he said that he relized his pokémon were still asleep. "Come on guys wake up," he said as he tried to wake them up. "Today is the day we challenge Koga for the Soul Badge." The sound of battle woke up his Hitmonchan and Rhyhorn. "And after we win the badge we can go travel the world looking for fun." This woke up the Rattata and Cubone. "And umm...." trying to think. "And before we go we will have a big meal." The idea of food woke up the Mr. Mime. "All right lets go eat." < Adam and his pokémon left and went to the P.H.O.P (Pokémon House of Pancakes) > "That was a good meal you guys," he said and his pokémon agreed. "We had better wait about a half hour before going to battle Koga." "Miime?" translation: Isn't that for swimming? "You don't want to get a stomach cramp while vttiling do you?" "Mime." "That' what I thought." "Before we battle Koga lets go pick up supplies." < buys supplies at pokémart > < half hour later > "All right guys here we go." < they enter the gym > "Koga! We challenge you to a battle." "So Adam, you think you can beat me for a Soul Badge." "Thats why I'm here." "All right. We will have a two on two battle." "Agreed" "Venomoth Go," shouted Koga. "In that case Rhyhorn I choose you." Both pokemon appeared in a flash of light. "Venomoth leech life" VEnomoth successfully used leech life. As Ryhorn's life was slowly being drained Adam shouted, "Rock Crusher counter with horn drill then Stomp it when it lands." Ryhorn used Horn Attack to knock it our of the sky then it charged and stomped it until it fainted. "Ah Adam your Ryhorn is strong. But I doubt it can survive an attack from my Golbat." "We'll see about that." "Golbat confuse ray." Golbat hit the Rhyhorn with the confuse ray and caused enough damage to where Rock Crusher had almost fainted. "Errrr. Rock Crusher return." Ryhorn disappeared in a flash of light. "Mr. Mime, I choose you!" In another flash of light Adam's Mr. Mime appeared. "Em & Em, Hypnosis attack." "Mr. Mime." said while concentrating for the attack. "Mr. Miiimmme! and with the sudden yell the Golbat had fallen asleep and had fallen to the ground causing some minor damage. "Mr. Mime! Use Confusion." "Mime!" and with that he had hit the sleeping Golbat with confusion and which was SE against it. "Woo Hoo! I win." "You'll become a good trainer," as he handed Adam the Soul Badge. Adam had opened up his green pokéball and put the badge inside. "I'll see you later Koga" "Ok Adam bye." Adam then left the gym and headed straight for the pawn shop. "Dad! Dad! I won my first badge!" Adam said excitedly. "Good work son....um...is your rattata around?" "No." "Whew," sounding relieved. "I don't need Charizard freaking out again." "Ok" "Anyway I am going to go out into the world to continue wit my pokémon journey." "And let me guess you need some more cash, right." "Yep." "Well since you got a badge I'll give you....$1500." "Thanks dad." < outside the pawn shop > "Now to go to the pokécenter." < At the pokécenter > "Nure Joy here aremy pokémon to be healed" "Ok, lets see a Rhyhorn and a Mr. Mime. They'll be ready in about 30 minutes." < 30 minutes later > "All done Adam, here are your pokémon" "Thanks Nurse Joy," he accepts the pokéballs back, gives Joy a hug, and rushes out the door. "I wonder what that was for," smiling at Adam's unusual happiness. "Oh well" "Pokéballs go!" releasing all five of his pokemon out. "Guys we are ging to have an early lunch then head out of town to really startour adventure. TBC
