Why had his Mr. Mime Mime attacked him? Even though he knew the answer, he couldn't believe that his friend had attacked him. Splash continued crying as visions of someone who he had tried to forget flashed in his mind. Murasaki. Thinking about her made everything else that had happened recently dissapear. It was just him and Murasaki. There was nothing else in the world... ---------------- Shock woke up and slowly got to his feet. His head hurt, probably from when his Seel had used headbutt on him. His left leg still hurt, but it didn't seem as bad as he had originally thought it was after his fall. Shock could walk on his leg, with some pain, but that was understandable. What mattered now was finding his Seel, and figuring out why it had attacked him. With his next course of action decided, Shock headed down a passageway in the basement of Pokemon Tower. ---------------- "Well, that's one problem down," Forest said quietly, "Now we have another..." "Right," Mac said,"Okay, let's think. We can't use our Pokemon... We have no way to attack the Ghastly. We're doomed." "Glad for your confidence," Forest said. "Thanks," Mac said. "Anyway, I say we... Run!" Forest cried. Forest and Mac ran out of the room and started running randomly down numerous corridors in hopes of getting away from the Ghastly. ----------------- Shock slowly climbed a flight of stairs and made his way into a large room. There was a large stone chair in the middle of the room. A window was borded up to the left of the entrance. Sitting on the chair in the center of the room was a large Pokemon. Shock was not sure what Pokemon that was, since he had never seen it before. He started looking in his pockets and in his ckpack until he found his Pokedex. Shock then struggled to get it open, since it was rusted shut from only having been used around once about five years ago. After a few moments of struggling, he managed to get his Pokedex open, and set it to analyze the Pokemon sitting on the large throne. "Gengar," the Pokedex beeped, "The Shadow Pokemon. If you feel a chill nearby, it may be a Gengar trying to place curse on you. This Pokemon likes to play jokes." 'Could this Gengar why my Seel attacked me?' Shock wondered. 'Maybe the Ghastly I heard laughing had something to do with this Gengar... Either way, I'm attacking it. If it isn't controlling Seel, then I'll get a new Gengar.' Shock wondered which Pokemon would be able to defeat a Genger. If the Gengar used a hypnosis attack on one of his Pokemon, then they might end up attacking him. The only Pokeuldn't attack was Kakuna... Maybe..... Shock called out Kakuna, and it popped out of the Pokemon. Shock picked up the Pokemon as Shock heard Gengar laughing and Kakuna's eyes glowed red. Even though Kakuna was under Gengar's power, Shock didn't worry. He knew that Kakuna could only use harden attack, so he didn't worry. Shock held Kakuna as high as he could, and threw Kakuna straight out the window. The boards covering the window broke, letting the sunshine outside shine onto Gengar. The Gengar slowly dissapeared as the sunlight hit its body. Shock turned around and started looking for Seel. After a few moments, he found him. Seel's eyes had returned to normal, and it acted friendly to Shock. He recalled it to the Pokeball, and started to look for a way out of the basement. -------------- Splash was thinking about Murasaki. Thinking about her made everything else go away. He was happy as long as he thought about her, all his troubles went away. He was having a particularly unappropiate thought when he felt a tug on his shirt. It was Mr. Mime, but Splash could tell that he was friendly. He was smiling, and his eyes had returned to normal. Splash returned Mr. Mime to its Pokeball and got up to leave the Tower, and hopefully buy a new pair of clothes, but also head to the local Pokemon Center. -------------- Forest and Mac hid in a corner. They were trying to get away from the Pokemon of theirs that had been attacking them. They soon ran out of breath, and decided to hide in a dead-end passageway. As they struggled to catch their breath when Porygon, Space, and Paras all walked up. Forest and Mac were terrified as their Pokemon grew closer, until Forest realized that the eyes of the Pokemon were no longer red. He quickly pointed that out to Mac, who ran up to Porygon, and gave him a big hug. Space flew into Forest's arms, and Paras snuggled up against his leg. <<Hey Mac!>> Porygon cried, <<Did ya miss me?>> Mac smiled and hugged Porygon, as Forest bent down and picked up Paras. He hugged Paras, and recalled him to his pokeball. Now reunited with their Pokemon, the human duo and Porygon duo headed out of Pokemon Tower towards the Pokemon Center. ---------- Shock ran out of Pokemon Tower to where his Kakuna had flew out of the window. Once he found it, he recalled it to its Pokeball, and headed to Pokemon Tower. ----------- Halloween was over... A new day was beginning... and three brothers who did not know each other existed were all heading to the Pokemon Center in Lavender Town.
