told Robert.
Robert smiles at Sarah Jane and winks, "Thanks for all your help! If you
ever need something..." Robert casually glances downward, then back up at
Sarah Jane, "...just let me know next time we meet! I'll be glad to
oblige! Good bye..."
Mithril-rama plucks the carrier holding Sarah Jane's baby Aerodactyl off
her neck, carefully so as to not wake up Pteryx, lest she bite off one of
her fingers, and places it around Sarah Jane's neck, "Thank you. Feel
better soon! See you later..."
Robert holds Mithril-rama's hand and skips away from the Saffron City
Pokemon Center just as a strange looking teen with a Sandshrew and a
Meowth is loafing about, eyeing Sarah Jane. While Robert and Rilli skip
past him, Robert decides to sing a song, despite the fact he's tone-deaf,
"Weeee're off to see Sabrina, the wonderful psychic of Oz..."
"Oz?" Mithril-rama chuckles, "What a silly name..." The mysterious teen
and his two Pokemon both fall over at this, but Robert and Rilli don't
notice this, since they both have Sabrina on their mind. Rilli asks,
"What do you plan on using?"
"Haunter, of course!" Robert smiles as he taps the first Pokeball on his
belt, "Ghost Pokemon have an advantage over Psychic Pokemon!"
Mithril-rama shakes her head, "But Ghost Pokemon are also part Poison and
Poison is weak against Psychic... I really think you should use Slowbro.
Since he's part Psychic, Psychic attacks don't hurt him as much as other
Pokemon..."
Robert makes a face that displays doubt at his girlfriend, "I usually do
whatever you say, but I think Haunter really has a good chance to win, so
I'm going to stick with him. I was right about Snorlax, wasn't I? I'll
have Slowbro as back-up."
After about forty-five minutes of being lost in Saffron City, Robert and
Rilli stand before two large Gyms. One is the official Saffron City
Psychic Gym and the other is the Fighting Dojo. Robert sees that the
Fighting Dojo is getting packed full of people, and he wonders why for a
moment before realizing that it doesn't matter now, "I'm going to earn a
Marsh Badge!" Robert is overflowing with joy and enthusiasm despite the
fact that it's only eight AM, a time when he can usually be mistaken for
the living dead. He runs into the Saffron City Gym, tugging Rilli along
as he goes!
A spiky haired psychic in a lab coat stops Robert, "Where do you think
you're going, Robert?"
"How did you know my...?" Robert starts pulling hair from his head,
"Argh! I'll never get used to being around psychics! But wait... if
you're really psychic, why don't you know where I'm going? It's the only
thing on my mind right now!"
The psychic looks perplexed, "You're going into your girlfriend's...?"
Robert slams his hand on the psychic's mouth before he can finish the
thought, but the psychic easily knocks Robert away with his mind, "Of
course I know you want to challenge Sabrina, Robert. The question was
rhetorical. What I meant to say is that there's no chance you'll win. In
fact, I foresee not only your failure, I also foresee that you and your
girlfriend are going to... Well, I'll let you be surprised."
Mithril-rama blushes. She's sure the psychic is wrong. She wouldn't do
anything too perverted with Robert... yet...
Robert narrows his eyes at the psychic, "You're wrong about me losing!
Though I'd like to think you're not wrong about your second
prediction..." Robert smiles at Rilli and raises both of his eyebrows.
When he looks back at the spiky haired psychic in the lab coat, his
expression becomes serious again, "Where is Sabrina? I wish to earn a
Marsh Badge!"
The psychic points towards double doors. Robert stomps away from the
psychic without saying farewell, angry that the man told him that he
wasn't going to win. Mithril-rama follows Robert up to the double doors
and helps him open them...
Across from a large Pokemon arena, on a giant throne, sits the mysterious
Gym Leader known as Sabrina. Her legs are crossed, her dull green hair is
let down, but her purple eyes don't show any joy, "Welcome, Robert.
There's no need to challenge me, since I've already read your simple,
repetitive mind. I accept your challenge. One on one, an all out match."
"Get out of my head, Sabrina!" Robert declares while stepping up to his
place, "Let's make this a fair fight! Don't use psychic powers during the
entire match! " Mithril-rama stands right next to Robert to cheer him on,
and to be ready in case she has to save his life yet again like she did
in the battle against Blaine in the Volcano.
Sabrina floats off her throne and sets foot right on the line exactly
where she's supposed to, "When one has as much psychic power as I do, the
concept of not using the power is absurd. I might as well ask you to not
breathe during the entire match. Which, now that I think about it, is not
a bad idea." Sabrina grins and Robert feels something strangling him.
Sabrina tilts her head to the side in mild amusement, then releases her
mental hold on Robert, "But that's not as fun as watching my Alakazam
defeat your Haunter. You have your chance to leave now and spare your
Ghost the humiliation."
"I'm not leaving! And if you think that backwards reverse psychology
works on me, you're wrong!" Robert laughs while placing his hands on his
hips, "You're telling me that Haunter is going to lose since you know
he's going to win, so that I choose a different Pokemon, which will most
certainly lose. Ah-ha! I'm too clever for your silly mind games,
Sabrina!"
Sabrina smiles. Ever since she first smiled when Ash Ketchum's Haunter
made her laugh, most of her smiles have been sinister ones. This is one
such smile, "Alakazam, go." A Pokeball floats out of Sabrina's hands and
onto the arena. When it snaps open, a large mustachioed yellow Psychic
creature emerges, clutching its two bent spoons, "Ala-ka-zam!!!"
"In that case... or any other case since I know he's going to win... I
choose you, Haunter!" Robert grabs the first Pokeball on his belt, which
is also the first Pokeball he ever used, and throws it into the arena. A
silly purple Ghost Pokemon emerges and his grin goes wide when he sees
Alakazam, "HAUNT! Haunter Haunter Haw Haunt Haunter!"
"You've been waiting for this moment?" Robert asks out loud while
translating, "Of course you have! You never finished your battle with
Sabrina's Alakazam when I came here on the first day of my Pokemon
Journey, and now's your chance!"
"Haunter!" Robert's Haunter nods, while awaiting a command from his
trainer. Robert thinks fast, but all of his quick thoughts are read by
Sabrina, along with the worried thoughts of Mithril-rama. Robert shouts,
"Haunter, use Hypnosis!"
"Alakazam, Psychic." Sabrina commands without any apparent enthusiasm in
her voice, as is usual for her. Due to Alakazam's speed advantage over
Haunter, it sends out a psychedelic Psychic attack which takes the form
of a fireball that sparkles and glows indifferent colors of the rainbow
before the poor Ghost Pokemon can raise a single disembodied hand to
begin his Hypnosis move. The Psychic blast hits Haunter... hard. Haunter
falls to the floor in pain, "Haau..."
Robert falls to his knees in sympathy pain for his Ghost Pokemon, "Hang
in there! You may not have the time to put it to sleep using Hypnosis,
but you can at least confuse it into hitting itself with its spoons like
last time! Use Confuse Ray!"
Haunter raises one finger and floats up, wobbling, "Haunt... er..." A ray
of darkness which originates from that same finger descends upon
Sabrina's Alakazam, confusing the Psychic Pokemon.
Sabrina smirks, "Is that all? Alakazam, Psywave." Sabrina's Alakazam
raises one of its spoons towards Haunter, but instead of using the attack
Sabrina ordered it to, it drops his spoon onto its foot. Though this
wouldn't hurt most Pokemon or even people, Alakazam suffers from a low
defense system, and starts hopping around in pain...
Robert can't withhold his laughter, "Ahh ha ha ha ha ha! Haunter, Night
Shade!" Unfortunately for Robert, Haunter also finds Alakazam's hopping
around rather comical, "HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW...." Haunter
takes a deep breath, pauses, and continues, "...HAW HAW HAW HAUNTER!!!"
Robert clenches his fists and shouts out to his easily distracted
Pokemon, "I said use Night Shade!" Robert's Haunter hears the command
this time and places his hands together. He floats up next to the
Alakazam and engulfs the Psychic Pokemon in darkness.
"Very good, Robert. You've weakened my Alakazam considerably." Sabrina
blinks while saying, "Alakazam, Recover." In the blink of an eye,
Sabrina's Alakazam is back to full health. Even its spoons aren't bent,
"Alakazam! Ka-zam!"
Robert's jaw drops, "Recover?! Recover?! That's the cheapest... piece
of... how the... Haunter, Night Shade again!"
"Alakazam, Psybeam." Sabrina orders. Though her command comes after
Robert's, Alakazam's mind is much quicker than Haunter's, and it is able
to raise one spoon, aim it at Haunter, and unleash a beam of pure psychic
power! Robert's now confused Haunter struggles to stay floating. Due to
his confusion, Haunter's hands turn around so that they face his head,
and they slap him around continually! Haunter hits himself so much that
he floats to the floor and faints on the spot.
Robert, who is on his knees, falls to the floor completely. In utter
shame, with tears in his eyes, he recalls his fainted Haunter into his
Pokeball, "How could Haunter lose? I was so sure that he would win..."
"That was not an entertaining battle. I am not amused." Sabrina frowns
and aims her hand at Robert, "Watching you die a slow and painful death
will be more fun that that boring match." Sabrina curls her long fingers
towards the palm of her hand and at the same time, Robert feels those
fingers around his neck, though they aren't really there.
Mithril-rama shakes Robert, trying to break Sabrina's hold on him. While
she does this, she shouts, "Why are you doing this, Sabrina? I heard
stories that you were good ever since Ash Ketchum made you laugh! Why are
you doing this?!"
"Old habits die hard." Sabrina's eyes gleam with a hint of insanity,
"Unfortunately for Robert, humans do not."
Mithril-rama speaks for Robert since her boyfriend can't breathe, less
speak, "Please let him go! This isn't fun at all!"
"You're wr..." Sabrina blinks, "Actually, you're... right." Sabrina
flicks her hand open, sending Robert crashing onto the back wall, "There
*are* more fun ways to deal with him. Hmm. Do you enjoy speaking for your
boyfriend?"
Mithril-rama is afraid to answer, thinking that Sabrina might make her
lose her voice or something horrible like that.
Sabrina shakes her head as a result of reading Rilli's mind, "You will
not lose your voice unless you do not answer."
"Sometimes I have to speak for Robert..." Mithril-rama feels that there
is no reason to lie, since Sabrina can read her thoughts anyway,
"Sometimes he doesn't know what to say, so I say it for him... especially
when he can't breathe!"
Sabrina places her hand on her chin, "Very well. You will both be
teleported outside." Sabrina raises both of her arms and points at Robert
and Rilli. She then proceeds to cross her arms, and they both disappear
in a flash of blinding light.
Darkness.
"What happened?"
"She didn't kill me, did she?"
"My voice sounds a little weird..."
Mithril-rama opens her eyes and is relieved to see the clouds in the blue
sky. She is laying down on her back, her arms and legs outstretched. She
is so relieved that she wasn't killed by Sabrina that she feels that she
can stay in this position forever. Then she remembers that she has to
check if Mithril-rama is okay too, "Rilli, where are..?"
Mithril-rama clears her throat. She notices that there's something very
wrong with her voice... it's much more feminine than usual, "Is this
Sabrina's cruel joke? Making my voice higher? Wait! Did she take my six
Badges?" Rilli places her hand over her heart and feels something lumpy
there. Something that wasn't there before, "Sabrina gave me breasts?!"
Rilli sits up and looks down at her pink shirt, blue jeans, and small
white sneakers, "I'm Rilli?! What the heck?!"
Mithril-rama can't believe this. She looks around and sees Robert
sprawled on the ground next to her, "This is too freaky..." She crawls
over towards Robert and tries to wake him up, "Wake up! Wake up! Please
wake up!"
Robert wakes up to find himself in an out of body experience. Either
that, or he has a twin he never heard about, "Who are you?! You're that
perverted Ditto aren't you?" Robert finds that his voice is deeper than
usual, and all of a sudden he has a sensation he's never felt before...
something is moving in his pants. Robert sits up and looks down at his
black shirt with six Badges pinned on it, dark blue jeans, and black
sneakers, "Um. Why am I Robert? I'm supposed to be Rilli!"
"That's funny..." Mithril-rama looks at Robert in the face, "Because I'm
Rilli and I'm supposed to be Robert!"
Mithril-rama and Robert both scream at the same time! Mithril-rama stands
up and makes a dash for the doors of the Saffron City Gym, but finds them
closed. A small note is on the door which reads, "Come back tomorrow."
Mithril-rama's eyes widen and she starts banging on the doors in a fit of
rage, "Sabrina! What is the meaning of this?!"
Robert's nature tells him to explain what is going on, though it's rather
obvious, "Robert, Sabrina swapped our minds. Now you're in my body and
I'm in your body... and I'm just hoping that there's a way to fix
this..."
"Why did she do this to us?!" Mithril-rama whines out loud, "Why, Rilli?!
WHY?! I mean, it's not that I don't find your body to be great, I think
it's wonderful, but I like seeing it from the outside! What are we going
to do?!"
Robert tries to get up, but finds it difficult. He's used to only lifting
up a small body mass. When he finally stands up, he starts doing a
nervous little dance and says, "I don't know what we're going to do...
but I have to go to the bathroom..."
Mithril-rama shakes her head, "Oh, no you don't! I don't want you seeing
my... you know..." She reaches into her purse and pulls out a small empty
water bottle. "Close your eyes." When Robert closes his eyes, Rilli pulls
down Robert's zipper, forces the bottle in through the hole, and sticks
her small hand into Robert's pants. After reaching around for a moment,
and after Robert relieves himself, Rilli throws the bottle full of yellow
liquid into the nearby bushes, "There."
Robert giggles, "Are we never going to take baths again, Robert? I'm
going to have to see you naked eventually..."
"No you won't! Not until we're properly married!" Mithril-rama huffs,
placing her hands on her hips.
Robert chuckles while reaching behind his back, "Is that a proposal?"
Mithril-rama frowns and crosses her arms, wondering how Mithril-rama is
taking this so lightly, "We're going to get Sabrina to fix this tomorrow
morning. Until then, we'll just have to try to cope with our situation
and figure out a way to trick Sabrina into changing us back... I doubt
she'll be doing it willingly. I still have to earn my Marsh Badge, and
I'm going to do it no matter what body I'm in!" Mithril-rama takes
Robert's six Badges off his shirt and puts it on hers.
Robert looks at his wristwatch, "What are we going to do for the next
twelve hours or so?"
"Go sightseeing?" Mithril-rama glances over towards the Fighting Dojo,
"Something seems to be going on there... We could check that out. I see
people are in formal wear, so I should really change into something more
fitting..." Rilli starts walking towards a nearby outhouse provided for
the activity in the Fighting Dojo, holding tightly onto her purse.
Robert runs up to her and places his large hand on her dainty shoulder,
overpowering her, something he's never been able to do before since his
body used to be so small, "Hold it! Why is it that I can't see you naked
but you can see me naked? That's just not fair, Robert. If you get to
change and see me naked, I also should be able to change into something
nice..."
Mithril-rama waves her hand in dismissal, "That's because I'm not going
to see you naked. I'm only changing your clothes, not your underwear.
Also, you're a guy now... you're not supposed to be concerned with your
appearance."
"But how can I be sure you won't take off my bra?!" Robert asks rather
loudly!
Some guests walking into the Fighting Dojo hear this, sweatdrop, and walk
faster towards the entrance.
Robert continues unaware of the stares coming from the crowd, "Let's both
go into the outhouse together and change each other. That way, we'll be
sure that neither of us see anything that we shouldn't. I'm sure you need
my fashion sense to help you out. Besides, I don't want you to take my
body into such a formal event wearing really tacky clothing."
Mithril-rama's mouth widens in disbelief, "I have an excellent sense of
fashion!"
"Maybe you have a sense of fashion for guy's clothing..." Robert shouts,
the testosterone he's never experienced before altering his usually calm
mood. He proceeds to shout, "But you don't know anything about women's
clothing! I do! Who here has been wearing women's clothing for almost
fifteen years of her life? Not you! I'll tell you who! MEEE!!!"
The Figure who has just outrun Gads Trisan stops in his tracks. He's
heard many weird things during his life as a psychic, but this one has to
be one of the weirdest. Shadowy sweatdrops appear all over his
nondescript face. His sweatdrops become larger when the small teenage
girl grabs the older teenage boy's hand and leads him into an outhouse...
