Date: Saturday, November 13, 1999 10:02 PM (OOC: Last time, (which was about 2 months ago) Chris caught a Slowpoke. His pokemon are Tangela, Horsea, and Slowpoke. He's on the southern outskirts of Pallet.) Chris awoke one more time in his tent. After Tangela snagged some breakfast, some roasted Rattata, Chris found a Mankey wandering by camp. He opened his Pokédex, and pointed at the Mankey, not noticing Chris. "Mankey. The Pig Monkey Pokémon." read the Pokédex. "If it becomes enraged, it will use powerful attacks, such as Seismic Toss, and Low Kick." Chris began to think deeply. "If I attack it, it will probably become enraged.....I gotta catch it anyways." Chris nodded to Horsea. He threw out a large bowl filled with water. "Go, Horsea!" he cried. Horsea jumped into the pool of water. "Horsea, Bubble now!" Horsea filled its muzzle with water, and bubbles began flowing out. Mankey noticed this, and began to pop the bubbles with its legs, like a little child. Mankey then flew towards Horsea. "MANKIIIIIIIIII!" it yelled in a war cry, as it flew towards Horsea. "Horsea, duck!" yelled Chris. Horsea didn't need to. Mankey flew a good two feet above Horsea's head. Mankey then struck Chris right in the stomach. Chris was caught off guard by this. Mankey began to scratch Chris repeatedly. Chris fell to the ground, injured badly. Just then, two vines struck Mankey in the back. "Tannnnnngllll!" It was Chris's Tangela. Mankey charged at Tangela, and Chris collapsed, fainted. Mankey began to charge at Tangela. At the last second, Tangela jumped, and kicked Mankey in the back. Mankey threw its paws out to strike Tangela, almost like a Fury Swipes. Tangela released a Sleep Powder, which subdued the enemy Mankey. Tangela whipped Chris's Poké Balls, and returned Horsea to it's ball. Tangela held the fainted Chris above his head, and began to run to the nearest Pokémon Center and Hospital, in Viridian. About halfway there, Tangela heard a familiar sound. "KIIIIII!" Mankey had finally caught up. Tangela laid Chris down, and opened Chris's Poké Balls to call out Horsea and Slowpoke. Mankey rushed towards Tangela, in a rage. Tangela whipped out its vines, in desperation. Mankey scrathed both the vines, and gave Tangela a Low Kick right in the eyes. (OOC: Tangela's eyes ARE pretty low, ya know. =P) Tangela, fell, fainted. Mankey began to glow. "PRIME-YAH!" Mankey evolved into Primeape! Slowpoke and Horsea both shot Water Guns at the newly-evolved Primeape. Horsea's was too low, and missed, while Slowpoke's was dead on. Primeape didn't mind. He rushed towards Horsea. Horsea let out a Smokescreen, but it was too little, too late. Primeape jumped above the smoke, carrying Horsea, and slammed it into a ground, with a Seismic Toss. Primeape walked over to Slowpoke, who backed up a little each time. Eventually, Slowpoke had his back to a river. Primeape threw a fist at Slowpoke, who took the blow. It let out a blast of water. Primeape didn't mind. It tossed Slowpoke into the river. Slowpoke swam back to the bank, and, after climbing onto land, got kicked back in. A wave of water was created, as several water pokémon rushed by. Goldeen and Seaking were seen jumping out of the river. A whirlpool of water appeared, and a portion of the water began to glow. A Slowbro crawled out of the river. "Primeaaaaaa!" Primeape began to run away, but instead was levitated in the air by one of Slowbro's Confusion attacks. Slowbro's psychokinetic powers tossed Prmeape into the river. He began to float downstream. Just then, Chris regained conciousness. He didn't know where he was, but he saw the fainted Tangela and Hosea, and the triumphent Slowbro. "All right!" yelled Chris, in joy. "Slowpoke evolved! Return, Slowbro! You too, Horsea and Tangela!" 3 beams of light shot out of Chris's Poké Balls, and all three pokémon were returned. Viridian City was just ahead. Chris began to run towards the Pokémon Center. Just then, a Slowpoke rose out of the water, and began to wonder where Chris was.
