Now, Randy and co. are in Vermillion City. Ding Dong! "Hello? Oh, hi, Randy! Welcome back!" said Randy's father. "Hi, Daddy!" said Randy. "Who's the girl?" "Hi, I'm Lisa." said Lisa. "Hello, Lisa. Randy, is she yer girlfriend?" "Nuh-" Randy passed out. While he was unconscious, Lisa was talking to his father. "Uh, Randy's dad?" asked Lisa. "Yeah?' "Why does Randy pass out whenever something like this happens?" "Randy has 'Yamcha Syndrome.'" "What's that?" "Well, it started with his mother." "Huh?" "His mother ran off with her secretary." "Tell me that it was a guy." "No such luck. It was a woman." "That must have screwed him up." "Not really. It's just that he never was around women that much. If he's around an attractive girl, then he'll stutter, and if someone says that he has a girlfriend or something, then he'll pass out." "That explained a lot." "I'm surprised that he can stand being around you." Just then, Randy woke up. "What happened?" he asked. "You passed out at the door, and I brought you inside." his father told him. "Oh." "It looks like you have some pretty strong pokemon." Piccolo, Cyrus and Trunks were sleeping in a pile on the floor. "Yeah, the pikachu's name is Piccolo. He was the leader of a group of ninja pikachu." said Randy. "Oh. Why's he with you?" his father asked. "Well, he decided to help me out after me and Cyrus saved his group from Team Rocket." "Team Rocket?" "Yup." "Who's Cyrus?" "He's the meowth that Matt gave me for my birthday." "Did your egg hatch?" "Yeah, it was a baby farfetch'd. His name's Trunks." "Do you have any other pokemon?" "Yeah." Randy threw a pokeball, and the Magus popped out. <<Hello, Randy. Where are we now?>> the Magus asked. "We're at my house." said Randy. "Oh, a kadabra. What's his name?" his father asked. <<I am the Magus. Who are you?>> "I'm Randy's father." <Oh. Now, if you don't mind, the Magus was sleeping.>> The Magus returned to his pokeball. "Why does he talk in the third person?" Randy's father asked. "I have no idea." Randy yawned. "Oh, you're sleepy. You can go to your room to go to sleep." "Thanks." Randy went upstairs. "Oh, Lisa. You can sleep down here, if you want." "Thank you, Randy's Dad." "You can call me 'Jonathan.'" "Okay." Jonathan went upstairs, to his room, and Lisa went to sleep on the couch.
