"The opening ceremonies are today! We need to get there now!" Dan was headed to the Pokemon League tournament. He'd been in Celadon so long, it felt like he practically lived there...so he needed something to do. "Hopefully, that Ditto won't act up for a while," he said. "And I'm still waiting for that prize from the bubblegum company..." "Fairy! Clefairy!" Clefairy said, pointing to the ground. "Good! The stadium's right down there!" Dan said. "Let's land, Pidgeot!" -- Dan was at a desk, answering questions. "And how many badges do you have?" the person behind the desk asked. "Eight," Dan said, pointing to his cap. ''All right. You'll be in the 7-8 bracket. Now I just need and ID to prove who you are." Dan handed over his Pokedex, and the person pushed a few buttons. "Let's see...ID No. 52153..." she mumbled, searching through a database of trainer IDs. "Ah, here we are. Everything seems to be in order. Just go through that gate into the stadium."
