"What a way to travel!" said Damian. "Speak for yourself," said Jon, who was looking a little green. Sarah Jane didn't reply. Instead she tossed out three of her Pokeballs. Shields and Cuddles stretched. Spunky looked at his adoptive mother in irritation. "I know you didn't want to be in the Pokeball, but I wasn't about to try and ride a flying Pidgeot and hold on to the two of you," said Sarah Jane. She had enough problems flying with an excited baby Aerodactyl. Pteryx had poked her head out of her carrier and nearly unsettled Sarah Jane by trying to climb out. Then the baby kept flapping her wings in the carrier, making Sarah Jane's grip a little more tenuous. Tiredly she took the baby out of her carrier. Pteryx flapped her wings, trying to fly. In an effort to give his trainer a break, Shields let the baby perch on his head. "It looks like registration is over there," said Jon. The gang could see a long line forming as a shrieking participant appeared to be holding things up. "What do you mean I can't be in the top group?!?" "I'm sorry miss," replied the attendant with a huge sweatdrop on his head. "But you don't meet the badge requirements." "I don't care about badge requirements! It's not fair!" "That whine sounds familiar," said Jon. Sarah Jane winced as she recognized Candi's voice complain: "My daddy is the president of the University of Rosetta!" "I don't care if your father is the president of the Pokemon League. Rules are rules," returned the attendant. "It's not fair!!!!!!!! I'm going to call my daddy, and he'll see that you're fired!" With that, Candi stormed off the line, her chauffeur Jeeves in tow. "She doesn't have any badges, does she?" asked Damian. "Not that I know of," returned Sarah Jane.
