(I don't know if this is a League header post or not, but since it
directly deals with the event, I thought I shoud put it up here. Enjoy!)
After doing a fly-by of the plane carrying Ri and Billy, Keyan
and Flash vectored due east from Pewter...and soon they spotted
something off on the horizon....it was Indigo Plateau....and now we
continue our story, as the duo flies towards the Plateau.
Flash screamed over the flat forest leading up to the massive
complex. It's stadiums rose up from the ground creating a skyline in
the middle of no where. They had left Pewter to find some where new,
and this was the place....wasn't it?
Flash arched its mighty wings to help slow down their speed, as
he landed softly on his two massive feet. Keyan hopped off the massive
bird's back, and looked on Indigo Stadium Complex in all its majesty.
He had landed at the foot of one of the stadiums, and began to walk
towards it when something caught him off guard....it was crying.
Something was strange about it....almost like music, so soft and
tender. It felt a newborn's skin, but it was so sad sounding...Keyan
immediately turned around to see what it was. He may be a macho guy,
but still, everyone had a little bit of a soft side. He pivoted around,
and looked into the nearby bushes. He saw a massive blue serphant
creature, battered and beaten by someone or something.
Keyan had never seen anything like it, and knew that it needed
help. Instinctly, he grabbed a Pokeball from his bag and checked it at
the creature. The creature barely had the power to move its head to see
the ball coming before it hit it, and captured it. Keyan quickly rushed
and grabbed the ball, and sped off towards what looked like the village
area of the complex.
A few minutes later, exhausted, and with Flash royally peeved at
having to actually run for once, they arrived at the Pokemon Center.
Centers were easy enough to spot, and this one was right in heart of the
area. Rushing in, he quickly gave it to the nurse on duty.
She looked like every other nurse in a center he had ever seen,
and he dudn't care a lick about it. Rumor had it that some people were
so obsessed with the Joys and Jennys of the world that they had actualyl
found ways to tell tem apart, but he had never found how to.
As he turned away from the counter, he began to pant and slumped
down in exhaustion in a near by chair. Running that hard wasn't the
problem, it was the rush of the rescue and the let down afterwards that
was the killer.
Just as it seemed that he'd finally be able to rest, Joy came
out from behind the the desk with a look of pure anger across her face.
"You should be ashamed battling such a rare and endangered Pokemon to--"
she berated Keyan
"What are you babbling about?!?! I found this, whatever it is,
in the bushes down the road!" Keyan responded, a little edgy about being
attacked for something he didn't do.
"You mean this Dragonair isn't yours?" she said, truly surpirsed
that Keyan didn't have a clue what was going on.
"A Drago-what?" He said, dumbfounded by what was happening.
"A Dragonair, one of the five rarest and most endangered Pokemon
in existance," she lectured, "they're incredibly rare, and less than
one-hundred have even been found living." At this information, Keyan's
mouth made a perfect O-shape. Whatm exactly, had he stumbled across?
How, exactly, was this going affect him.
"You really don't know what you've found do you? Well," she said
going back behind the counter and grabbing a small pamplet and
returning, "here's the information that we have on the Dragon Pokemon.
I'll go see what I can do for Dragonair, and see what its abilities are.
In the meantime, I suggest you read up, considering you're its new
trainer. Well, since you've got so much reading and work to do learning
about your new Pokemon, I'll wire news that you're here over to
Registration. What is your name anyway?"
"Pepper, Keyan Pepper." He said, as he sank even further into
the chair. He'd sort everything out about this "Registration" thing
later....right now he had a new Pokemon to research.
Stay Tuned For...No Duh, Azure's Touch, Part II!
(PS. The title will make a little more sense as tings progress)
