Caleb and Ilanna were getting near Celdaon city. How can she be a pokemon hunter? Though Caleb as the entered the city. " So, how come you're a Pokemon hunter? I thought I was the only one, I didn't expect anyone else to be crazy enough-" " I'm not crazy, the pay is good. This month I have made around £6000 already," " Hmph," Caleb was not in a good mood. " I don't know while you're coming here, the Nidoking is my target," Ilanna said, at last. " WHAT? That thing is fair game for me too!" Caleb yelled. " Not accroding to guild rules. Any pokemon, which has a contract on it from another hunter, is only fair game to that single hunter. You are a member of the guild aren't you?" " Uh...yeah of course," There's a guild? Caleb thought. " I think those guild rules suck! I'm going to get it without your help!" " Oh yeah? I douby that, you and your Pokemon are incabable of beating a Rattata!" " Why you little-" Caleb nearly shot her but officer Jenny marched along. " Gooday!" She waved and carried on. Ilanna ushered Caleb away. " I'm gonna get that Nidoking and if she gets in the way..." Caleb looked at his Magnum. No, he may kill Pokemon, but he wasn't going to kill a human. Of course...he could make exceptions. Ilanna didn't much like Caleb. I suppose he might come in useful, she thought to herself. Inside the pokecenter she handed all her Pokemon; Grwoelr, the growlithe, Volts, the Jolteon, Sparky, the Pikachu and Ninetales the Ninetales. She went to get patched up. That Nidoking is going to be tough, Caleb and I will need each other if we're to get it, I just hope he realizes that and doesn't get himslef killed, she thought. Caleb hadn't realized. He'd had one go today and it was getting late. He would rest tonight and go out tracking in the morning. The next day he left Celadon via the same exit as last time. He went North when he could, following the Nidokings tracks. Soon he found a new set of tracks, Ilanna. HOW? He had got up and 6 o'clock. The tracks had been here for a while though. Soon he came to a cliff. He didn;t go and look at it, because he had seen the Nidoking. It hadn't seen him yet, but there was nowhere to hide around here. He trod quietly. He took the gun out of its holster. Too late, the Beast heard him. It span around. It had already been hurt. It had a slash going from its shoulder to its groin. Ilanna's sword. It began to charge him. *BLAM* Caleb shot it, directly in the chest. When he had shot it in the tougher plates on its back, it had done very little. This shot had hurt it. It stumbled back, he fired again. It nearly fell over, but it managed to start running away. He was about to fire again when he heard someone cry: " HELP!" *sigh* He ran over to the cliffside and there was Ilanna, hanging on for dear life. " Oh gawd not you!" She sighed. Caleb rolled his eyes and got up to leave. " NO! Wait, help me! That Nidoking knocked me over," If she had fallen she would probaby die on the rocks below her. This cliff overlooked the sea, so she might have hit the water, but it was risky. Caleb sighed again, " Why do you always manage to mess up my plans?" He asked himself. Ilanna got up and looked around, the Nidoking was gone. " Thankyou Caleb, I owe you one..." " ooh, Let me think," Ilanna was a very attractive woman... " Don't get any ideas, Caleb..." She glared at him. " It seems as if you need my help," Caleb tried. " Well you won't get anywhere without me," " You havn't done anything for me yet," Caleb began. " I saved you in the canyon!" " I could have escaped," " Yeah right!" " LOOK! This isn't getting us anywhere," Caleb finished the argument. " I think we will get the Nidoking quicker if we work together," " I'm not giving away my bounty!" Calen barked greedily. " It's my bounty!" Ilanna had her hand on her sword handle. " We're back to square one," " Ok, no patnership, I'd like to see you get the Nidoking!" " Oh yeah, watch me..." Caleb turned and left. " Men..." Ilanna muttered. The Nidoking must be weaken by now, he had hit it twice. He soon came to a forest, trees had been kmnocked over, presumably by an angry Nidoking. " Cubone go!" Just in case, thought Caleb. " Cuuu! Cub Cubone? on cu?" " Don't worry Cubone, I'm gonna get this thing," Soon he found a small cave. It stank of Nidoking. " Well, let's see who's home," Caleb crept down the cave, gun in hand. He heard growling from one end of the cave. Ah, there's my prize, Caleb thought. Sure enough, there was the Nidoking, eating a deer. He could probably hit it's eye, but it would be tricky, there wasn't much light here. He took careful aim...and fired. The shot missed and hit it in the shoulder. It looked up and saw him. It began to charge. Uh oh... Before he could dodge he had been smacked into the wall. It was crushing him against the rock! Cubone lept at it. It swung its bone but it did little. This thing is tough, thought Caleb. He couldn't breath anymore, he felt his bones creak under the strain. This is it... " Hey ugly boy! Guess who's back!" Ilanna! She sliced at the Nidokings back with her katana. It dropped Caleb, who was gasping for air, and charged her. She half parried the attack and half dodged it. It slashed her stomach. " I can't see, Sparky go!" The Pikachu appeared. " FLASH!" It lit up the area with a dazzling light. She looked up in time to see the Nidoking slam into her. She was knocked back, dazed. The Nidoking was about to slam her when Sparky blasted it with Thunderbolt. It shrieked and ran away. Ilanna helped Caleb to his feet. " So? Truce?" She smiled at him. " Truce," He sighed.
