Sarah Jane had finished telling Julia about Candi when a familiar face appeared. It was Florinda, the same person Julia traded her oddish to. "Hi, Florinda!" yelled Julia from across the room. "Oh hi Julia. How's my bulbasaur doing?", asked Florinda as she made her way over. "It's been great, though it doesn't seem to want me as a trainer", said Julia as she brought out bulbasaur's pokeball. "That's okay. I'm feeling the same way about your oddish, who I renamed to Persephone. I hope you don't mind but can we trade back. I realized the mistake I made when I was leaving the island", said Florinda with a smile. "Me too, so I guess we should trade then", said Julia as she and Florinda walked over to the trading center. A few minutes passed and the pokemon were returned to their past trainers. "I'm sorry I ever traded you Pet.. I mean Persephone", said Julia as she hugged her oddish. "Well nice meeting you again and good luck", said Florinda as she waved good-bye before leaving. Sentinel groaned. He wanted to outside and roam around but he wasn't allowed. "Sentinel, I know you want to go outside but you'll have to wait unlike the games are over", said Julia as a tall man in a cowboy hat walked up. "That's a mighty strong kangaskhan ya got there missy. He would make a great tauros herder and he would have plenty of space to roam around in", said the man as Sentinel danced in delight. "Well Sentinel you seem pleased with the idea and I don't want to keep you caged in so I'll let you go. Take care", said Julia as she hugged the kangaskhan before giving the man Sentinel's pokeball. "You're a caring trainer and to even this out I'll give you this egg I found. I hardly have the time to look after an egg and you seem caring enough so please take it. Will you?", said the man in the cowboy hat as Julia took the egg. "I promise to take care of it, Sir", said Julia as the man tipped his hat and went his way. "Well that was interesting, lose two pokemon and gain two in one day", thought Julia to herself as she waited for her match. "Now calling Julia and Candi to the Water Field!" boomed the announcer's voice as Julia made her way to the stadium. "First up is Candi!" yelled the announcer as the crowd cheered, as "Who wants candy" played in the background. "Yes, you all want Candi!" said Candi arrogantly as Jeeves unrolled the red carpet that lead to the trainer's box. "Now, the newcomer from Celadon, Julia!" the crowd cheered as "Vow" boomed in the background. "Is this my competition?" said Candi with a phony laugh. "Trainers, begin!" said the announcer as Jeeves brought Candi her gold plated pokeballs in a velvet pillow. "Well for starters I'll choose my adorable clefairy!" squealed Candi as she released the pink pokemon on top of one of the few islands. "Ok, go Persephone!" said Julia as she threw the dark green and white pokeball onto the field. "Oddish!" yelled Persephone as it stretched its leaves. "Clefairy, get it!" said Candi as her clefairy hopped from island to island. "Persephone stun spore the floor!" yelled Julia as Persephone released two powder balls of stun spore that exploded on impact with the islands. Candi's clefairy was paralyzed as it lay foot on one of the spore covered islands. "Stop hurting my pokemon!" yelled Candi. "Persephone finish it off with absorb!" commanded Julia as small green spores were released from clefairy's body and gathered into one big orb, before being absorbed by Persephone. "And Clefairy is out of the match!" said the announcer as the small pokemon lay flat on its face, fainted. "Clefairy return darling. We'll get manicures after the match. Go magikarp!" said Candi as she released her second pokeball. "Am magikarp?!" said the announcer before breaking out in a laugh. "Stop laughing or I'll get you all fired!" screamed Candi. "Persephone return and go Glacier!" Julia said as the small white seel appeared. "Magikarp attack!" Candi yelled out as Jeeves stood there with a look of disgust. "Glacier aurora beam the water and then head butt it!" Julia said as the seel let loose a spectrum of colors, decreasing the temperature in the water. Cold the magikarp flopped out only to be met by a head butt from seel. "And Magikarp is out of the match!" the announcer yelled as the referee raised the green flag. "Green trainer Julia is ahead 2 to 0", said the announcer as Candi sent out her wigglytuff. "Glacier return and go Cyclone", Julia said as the spearow appeared in a red flash. "Cyclone peck it!" ordered Julia as the bird began dive bombing the balloon pokemon. "Wigglytuff do something to get away from it!" said Candi as she let out a cry of despair. The wigglytuff then began inhaling air as it grew bigger and bigger. Soon enough it was filled with enough air that it began to float upwards. "What is wigglytuff doing?!" asked the announcer surprised that wigglytuff was near the top of the stadium floating. "Cyclone knock it down with fury attack!" Julia said as Cyclone released an onslaught of sharp feathers at the pink balloon. "WIGGLY!!!" scream wigglytuff as a loud explosion was heard before it came crashing down. Wigglytuff landed with a loud thud, as it's impact created a small wave that happened to wet the front row audience. "And wigglytuff is out! Green trainer, Julia, wins the match!" said the announcer as the crowd roared in the background. "NO! NO! NO! This can't be. I'm supposed to win!!! ME! ME! ME!" screamed Candi as she continued on with her tantrum loud enough it would make a gyarados cry. Jeeves sighed as he quickly escorted Candi out of the stadium.
