With a final pull, he was able to pull out most of his torso. He found himself face-to-face with Brock's Vulpix, currently being held by Shuriken the Skateboarding Staryu. Vulpix cocked her head in curiousity, almost as if completely unaware of what just happened. Smasher's head slammed into the snow as Ema pulled herself out the top and landed on it. Upon seeing Vulpix, she snatched it away from Shuriken. "Gotcha!" she proclaimed. "Uh, oh," she added upon closer inspection. "What's wrong?" asked Smasher. He got up and looked at Vulpix. "Aw, fog!" Seth, Aerie and Slasher drew closer. Cliff Diver the Clefairy climbed onto Smasher's shoulders for a closer look. Shuriken already saw it. Vulpix yawned a quite adorable yawn, seemingly unaware that she had a small dent in her ear. "Maybe he won't notice?" suggested Seth. "Only one thing could make this situation worse," said Smasher. "What?" "I'd tell you, but I think he might already be here." Smasher looked behind them. To be continued...
