"I want you two to go temporarily oversee the unofficial Virdian Forest Gym, once held by an.. "Icy". I belive there are some changes that the League cannot formally address if not seen in person. Contact me once the mission is completed." Gibraltar thought. "Changes is right. I believe ATR is over there." He spoke. "I'll get right to it." With that, Gibraltar set off through the wooden portal, awaiting a brand new day-- "Hey! You bastard! I'm still back here!" "Aw, feck." >> -===---===--===---===--===---===- "Quoth the Shorts Kids.." (DaHhh) by Yoda -===---===--===---===--===---===- "We Tryin' To Stay Alive" grows louder and louder in the distance. Soon enough, a silver Mercedes Benz 850 barrels down Route 29, flying over smaller Pokémon crossing the road. It lands hard, but the suspension on the vehicle minimizes the damage. "GROOOOOARRRR!" The Benz speeds up even more, behind it a stampeding herd of Ryhorn! "Argh... damn... zone.. thing.. with... safari... shortcut..." Gibraltar gasped. "Hehe.. whoops?" The agile Farfetch'd hopes to distract the angry League official next to him from the rhinoceros-like Pokémon charging the Benz from behind. "The shortcut used to work... sometimes.. I think.." They collectively sweatdropped. "Hold on to your leeks." With that, Gibraltar takes a hard right into the Viridian Forest, going about 90mph. The Benz dives into the dense foliage, Metapod and Kakuna skidding off the windshield, hanging down by silk from the limbs of trees. Finally, the car comes to a sudden halt before the Viridian Forest Gym. "Ahh.. finally, here." Gibraltar steps out, and assesses the car's situation. Suddenly, a slight rustle in the bushes is heard. "YOU! UR NOT WERING SHORTZ!" "...the hell are you?", Gibraltar asks the shorts clad "boy". "UR...IM SHORTZ KIDZ!", the diminutive adolesent replies proudly. "Ookay..." "Dude, I think the guy is whacked," replies Rapier. "HEY YOU STOOPDE BIRDIE U WEEL FEEL MY POWR! SHORTZ KIDZ I CHOOZ UU!!" Suddenly, a gross of similar looking kids, all chanting the mantra: "YOU! UR NOT WERING SHORTZ!" "RATATIZ!WE CHOOZ YOO!" eight Pokéballs went out from the bushes, and out popped eight Rattata. "...right. Rapier, I think you should handle these." Rapier walked over into the unmarked battlefield, while Gibraltar chugged a Coke. "Just beat them and get it over with." Rapier flew near the eight rodents, then, unsuprisingly, they formed a circle around the intelligent Farfetch'd. "RATATAIZ!" the Shorts Kids shouted, TAKIL!", all the eight Rattata used their circle to intimidate Rapier, and rushed him from all sides. Seconds before the rats hit, Rapier used Agility, and took flight again, making the Ratatta skulls crash into each other. "OOONOO!HPER FNG!" The Ratatta once again formed a circle around the bird, and ran at Rapier again, jaws wide. "Heh." Rapier unsheathed his razor-sharped leeks. He then used his Agility technique to spin faster and faster, like a fan. The Ratatta were being hit dozens of times a second, their inital attack failed, and each one fainted simulaneously. Rapier yawned, sheathed his leeks, and walked over to Gibraltar. "OOOHHHNOOO! O WEEL. WE OD BTR NXT TIMEZ. U SMRT MN HEHEE. BAI NW." The shorts kids recalled all the injured Pokémon, then disappeared into the bushes; Gibraltar swore he saw a hatch close and open, and a tree's branch suddenly get retract. "Weird..." Gibraltar threw away his coke. "What say we investigate this 'gym'?" "Better than being chased by neurotic ten year olds", Rapier retorted, and they made their way toward the gym. -===---===--===---===--===---===- TBC?
