"Freefree!" the butterfly chanted as it emerged with a flash from the red beam of the Pokeball and hovered above the mountain background. "Go! Geodude!" The small boulder trundled across the floor. "Mork! Confusion!" The Butterfree let fly with a host of psychic waves. The spectators were naerly blinded by the light. This was too much for Geodude who attempted to dodge but was too slow and was hit by the full blast. "Critical hit!" the speakers announced. "Geo...dude..." croaked Geodude as it tumbled to the dust. "Geodude! Return!" shouted the brown-haired young Brock. "Go! ONIX!!" he shouted even louder, never one to let defeat get to him. "In that case, I call...Squigglyhuff!" The dog-like Pokemon emerged from the Pokeball, and Everstar thought for the thousandth time what an incredibly strange Flareon nickname it was. Oh well, she got it in a trade. "Squigglyhuff...Ember now!" A burning light appeared at Onix's tail. It hurt the Onix slightly, but made it angry. "Onix! Rage!" The Onix lifted its head and bought it smashing down onto the fire Pokemon. *Should've put up a Reflect...* she thought and returned Squigglyhuff. "Go Fusion!" She cried and launched a Pokeball containing a Porygon. The cyborg duck, which was too high a level for her to control, sharpened and tackled the Onix, bringing it down into the dust. "Wow. For a second there I thought I might win..." said Brock, handing over the Boulderbadge. "Yeah right, old man. You still had Mork to reckon with!"
