Recap: Last time Troy left his home looking for a fight in Viridian. "Well here we are Tsunami.Viridian City. Let's find someone to battle!"Vaa!"remarked Tsunami firmly.He was in the mood to fight becuase the last time he did battle was when he helped Troy capture his Beedrill over the summer. Troy knew Tsunami had grown strong over the four years they had been together, but Troy knew it would take long,hard training beforehecould beat Giovanni in the Viridian Gym."There's somebody over and judging from the pokeball in his hand Come on Tsunami, looks like we found our first opponent. Troy walked up to the teen-ager he had seen with the pokeball. He had gently flowing, brown hair, green eyes and was wearing a black jacket and a pair of khakis. "Hey, wanna battle?"asked Troy "Sure,two on two.O.K go Starmie!" "Go get'em Tsunmi." "Va"Tsunami said stiffly as it jumped onto the sandy field."Starmie, tackle it," the purple Starmie became a blur as it spun towards Tsunami."Tsunami,Jump!" The Vaporeon jumped atop of a stone pillar as the trainer's Starmie passed through where Tsunami was and kept going, slicing through the pillar that Tsunami was on. Tsunami jumped of the pillar into the air."Tsunami, use your surf attack!" All of the sudden Tsunami launched a large wave engulfed the Starmie, slamming it to the ground. "Here's the chance for your first victory, buddy.Ice Beam now! The still at full-power Vaporeon fired a beam of water from its mouth freezing the enemy Starmie on contact. "Starmie, return. Go Fearow!"The trainer's pokeball opened up revealing a cloud of energy that becme a four foot high flying pokemon, a Fearow. " Swoop down and tackle it Fearow." The huge winged bird swooped down, slamming into Tsunami with its beak, knocking him back into a patch of dry, sandy land. "Fearow, whirlwind up a sand attack." The Fearow raised its magnificent wings and started to flap them. A violent wind then picked up. Sand from the loose ground was everywhere. It seemed that they were in a desert in the middle of a deadly sandstorm. Sand was in Tsunami's eyes and it could not see. Troy picked off the sparkling blue ultraball off his necklace and pressed the raindrop button to enlrge it. He tried to call Tsunami back, but there was too much sand and he couldn't see his Vaporeon."Tsunamii!"screamed Troy. "Finish it off Fearow, we're not here to faint, we're here to kill.Drill Peck!"
