From: Steve and Allyson <chublock@ihug.co.nz> Subject: PW! the season premiere (a very poke christmas) Date: Tuesday, December 21, 1999 8:11 PM narrator-we start young soon to be trainer James wells more commonly known by people as edge is going for a family holiday in the mountains with his mum dad and brother Joe. Blue and white light fill the sky as a lightning bolt strikes a tree upon a mountain top somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. The cold air turns the rain into snow in the high altitude. An old beat up Chevy Blazer rips its way up a dirt trail on the mountain side. The snow fall is tremendous, it is falling at a rate of an inch a minute. This obviously is no place for life, no place for anything but dead shrubs and dead silence. Thunder...the sound is deafening. Ahead of the trail there is a large cabin; It is dark, it appears lifeless. No lights coming from it, no sense of presence. The snow is packed rather high on the ground in front of the cabin where the Blazer makes it's stop. The headlights of the vehicle are very dim, or appear to be so in this horrible storm. The engine stops running and the lights turn off...the card doors open from each side as James Joe mum and dad step out of the car and stand around together. mum-honey I dont think this is the place James-damn dad you've gotten us lost again dad-you know this could be the cabin we are looking for why dont we check before blaming people (the group filed up the hill and to the cabin the father tried to open the door after a few wriggles on the door handle the door opened to a room filled with furniture covered in white sheets the cabin had obviously not been used in some time as the white sheets had collected allot of brown dust) damn dad you did get us lost James shouted angrily well I will go try to start the car and we can leave here dad said in a quite voice about five minutes later the father returned up at the cabin as he opened the door as the family jumped up ready to go the dad came in not looking to happy. the car is out of gas said the father oh you have got to be kidding me said James in a rough tone unfortunately no said the father the family slumped down on to the couch they found under a white sheet looks like we are spending Christmas here we cant get gas in this kind of weather there are no gas shops for miles said the mother it was the 24th and it didn't appear to be a very merry Christmas the family piled in the present from out of the car boot and they tucked in under a rug next to a fireplace in the cabin the next day the children awoke the storm was still very bad they tried to wake up there parents to open the presents the parents awoke and everyone gathered around the fire trying to keep warm they were all very hungry but no cooking utensils in the cabin and the electricity wasn't going eitherstill they tried to have a happy Christmas the parents handed six ball shape packages to James and his brother suddenly a huge smile grew on the kids faces they new what these were James ripped off the paper and saw to his delight six pokeballs right there in his hand.he released the pokemon one by one he had a cubone a growlithe a magmar an electabuzz a charmander and an articuno the James went and hugged his parents in joy James's brother opened his to reveal a ratite a zapdos a bulbasaur a sandshrew a machop and a MAGIKARP?! joe shouted why the heck have I got a magikarpthe family stared at Joe in amazement well the parents were James was falling over laughing.Joe apologised to his parents and the family had a group hug the parents then gave both the boys a pokedex each Joe I bet I can take your candy ass right now said James as he motioned Joe to come and battle I accept said Joe ready and willing for the match on 3 declared James as he threw out a pokeball containing magmar.hehehe everyone knows fire is weak to water Joe yelled as he threw out his magikarp.yes said James but everyone knows that a magikarp is weak against basically anything.Joe fell on the ground realising his big mistake he then got up okay magikarp splash attack magikarp tryed to splash magmar but it just bloobed around on the ground okay magmar megapunch James shouted as the magmar went and delt to magikarp in one blow magikarp return said Joe I choose you zapdos the great zapdos flew out of the pokeball zapdos drillpeck shouted Joe magmar dodge him if he hits you your out of there zapdos flew around the room as magmar dodged him alright zapdos thunder bright jolts flew round the room as the magmar fell to the ground magmar return said James as a red ray emerged from the pokeball and magmar was transported back in go cubone CU BBB BONE zapdos hang in there shouted Joe zapdos hi him with your thunder shock cu bone agility shouted James CU CU BONE cubone shouted in fear trying to dodge the powerful thunder ray that were coming from zapdos cubone bone club cubone jumped on the zapdos as it swooped down trying to nail him with a drill peck then flying on zapdos cubone started thwacking zapdos on the head with his bone club zapdos fell to the ground in pain one left shouted James who's it gonna be?
