After a long time of walking, the group of 4 boys, and 2 Porygon reached Vermillion city. Splash sighed. Trying to find out a little about the person whom his brother was traveling with had been a nice little distraction, but now he had to focus on the more important matters at hand. He had to find Murasaki. He stopped walking to look around, to see if she was in the general area. She wasn't. Suddently, Shock grabbed Splash, and dragged him along, behind Forest, and Mac. "Come on! Let's keep going! We're almost at my house." Shock dragged Splash along behind Forest and Mac, who had no idea where they were going. Noticing this, he directed them to an area of houses, and told them to head left at the second block of homes. When Shock's house came into view, he let go of Splash, and ran ahead of Forest and Mac, and stood looking at his house. He had not been there in almost seven months, ever since he had run away. Now he was back, and was going to see his parents. Except they were not really his parents. They had lied to him. Shock took a deep breath, and walked up to the house... His house... He rang the doorbell, and stood there, waiting for one of his parents to open the door. Forest and Mac walked up behind him, as Porygon and Space pulled Splash along behind them. Forest watched as the front door opened. A Women, probably Shock's mother, answered the door. It seemed to take her a moment to realize that her son was at the door. "Shock!" She cried as she grabbed her son into her arms and hugged him tightly. When she let go, she finally seemed to realize the others. "Oh! Oh, My!" "Mom, these are my brothers, Splash and Forest, and Forest's friend Mac," Shock started, "But if they _are_ my brothers, then how could you be my parents?" "Uh... Shock, dear, come inside. I have to tell you something," His mother said. She led the group inside the house, and into the living room. Everyone sat down, and Shock's mother began talking. "Your Father and I are not your real parents, Shock," She began, "We had no children. One day, we were driving home from a visit to my sister in Saffron City, when we found you walking in the middle of the road. We pulled over, and took you home. After that, we looked all over for your parents, but we could not find them, so eventually, we decided to keep you as our own son." After listening to his mother talk, Shock stood still. His mother then, got up, and said that she had to give him something. A while later, after Shock's mother had given him all the manga that he had been getting in the mail, but had been unable to pick up while he was away, including his Inu-Yasha manga, his Pokemon manga, his Appleseed manga, etc. Splash had left them as soon as his brothers had finally let him go. Shock had noted that he was muttering something about Murasaki. Shock had also noticed that he had a nosebleed at the time. Now, Shock, Forest, and Mac were standing in front of Shock's yard, trying to say goodbye. "We'll keep in touch!" Shock promised. "Where are you guys heading?" "I- I- uh... I don't really know," Forest said quietly. "I've always wondered what it would be like to go to those gyms and try to train my other Pokemon. I think I'm going to go to Pewter City." "Oh... Okay," Shock said. "I think I'm also finally going to get the remaining badges that I need to get into Pokemon League." "How many badges do you have?" Mac asked him. <<Yeah!!>> Porygon cried out, for the first time in a while, <<Tell!!! Tell!!! Tell!!!!>> <<Tell!!! Tell!!!>> Space chanted along with Porygon. "Uh, let's see... It's been months since I got my last badge. I still need the badge from Vermillion gym, Fuschia Gym, and Cinnibar gym." "Wow!" Mac said. "Your good!" "Not really," Shock said. "My author was new to writing PokeWars, and so he just had me go to gyms at first, beating gym leaders very easily. Now, I think it'll be a little harder to beat them." "Oh," Forest said. "Well, I'm gonna get going," Shock said. "I'm going to Virmillion Gym first." Forest watched as his brother walked down the street, and then turned to Mac. "Are- Are you going to come with me to Pewter City?"
