After Meeko's Par'té, Trunks headed to the PokéMon Center before entering the Grass Field. "First introducing the Green Trainer, Trunks, from Saffron City!" The announcer says. "And the Red Trainer, from Vermilion, Kenneth!" Suprisingly to say, Kenneth was the old man that Trunks traded his Charmander and Scyther to! Trunks started out with his new Lapras. :: You called me Sir?:: Lapras says telepathically. "Yeah, your in the Pokémon League you yourt facin' your old trainer, Kenny." Trunks moaned as Kenneth started out with a Scyther. " The Battle Is Beginning" The Flagman says. "Scyther, give him your Slash attack!" Kenneth ordered as Scyther slashes as Lapras. "Lapras, dodge it and hit him with an Blizzard!" Trunks ordered. Scyther missed the slash and froze instantly after the Blizzard. "Now Sing and then Slam!" Trunks laughed, as Lapras sang. Scyther's ice blue eyelids began to shut in the ice. Lapras then "jumped" up and slammed down Kenneth's Scyther. "Scyther is unable to battle,Green Trainer Trunks and his Lapras are the winners." The Flagman said while raising a Green Flag. "Scyther return, go Electrabuzz!" Kenneth lashed out as the Electric Element PokéMon formed from the Pokéball. "Use your Thunder!" Electabuzz used a powerful electric attack, knocking down Lapras. "Now follow up with an Thunderpunch!" No sooner had Kenneth said it, was Lapras knocked down, out cold. "Lapras is unable to battle, Red Trainer Kenny and his Electrabuzz are the winners!" The Flagman raided a Red FLag. Trunks returned his Lapras and called out his Bulbasaur. "Use your razorleaf, Bulbasaur!" Trunks commanded. Kenneth laughed. "Use another Thunderpunch to end this mutant PokéMon." Electrabuzz used a Thunderpunch, but it did little damage as Razor Leaves came slashing across Electrabuzz's body. He fell to his knees. Amazingly Bulbasaur began to grow as the plant on his back began to flicker, eventually opening into a opened leaf bud. Kenneth gasped. "Electabuzz use your Thundershock!" Trunks now laughed."Bulba...er...Ivysaur, Leech Seed!" Electrabuzz got up fast for something so weak, but not fast enough. The Seed latched onto Electrabuzz's claw, and many vines attached all around him, sucking his energy and replenishing Ivysaur's. "Electrabuzz is unable to battle, Green Trainer Trunks and his Ivysaur are is the winner!" The Flagman once again raised the Green Flag. Kenneth returned his fallen Electrabuzz, as the leech seed vines went back into the seed and fell to the ground. Surprisingly he called out a Charmeleon. Even more surprising, Trunks called back his Ivysaur and called out Pidgeot. Kenneth dropped his jaw. He never expected this! "Charmeleon, use your Fire...." Trunks interupted him "Pidgeot use your Quick Attack and then Gust!." Amazingly Pidgeot flashed at Mach 2 speed across Charmeleon three times. Charmeleon fell. Pidgeot then finished it by Gusting Charmeleon into thwe air and deliveribng a fatal Double-Edge attack. "Charmeleon is unable to battle, Green Trainer Trunks and Pidgeot win the match!" The flagman says, raising the Green Trainer one last time. Trunks call back Pidgeot before shaking the hand of the Old Man. Trunks then heads back toward his hotel, holding his head high, into the air!
