Date: Wednesday, December 01, 1999 7:11 PM Trunks awakes the next day to a complete surprise. The phone is ringing. Trunks gets up, without disturbing Arcanine and decides to answer it. Still groggley Trunks picks the phone up "Hello?" "Trunks! Sorry to disturb you so early in the morning.." A familiar voice said. "Prof. Oak? No prob.,but where's the fire?" Trunks says "No fire, just a PokéMon your parents found just outside Saffron City. It's an Eevee. The Evolution PokéMon. They transported to me, to give to you. I also told them your in the PokéMon League and they said they'll be watching on television." Oak replied. "An Eevee? Ever since I was 7 years old I wanted a Jolteon. And on the way to get a PokéDex from you, I stopped in Celadon and bought some evolution stones. Hang on, I gotta check." Trunks puts down the phone and jumps over the bed to his back-pack which held the stones. "Here it is! A Thunder Stone!" Trunks brings it over to the phone. Okay here,I'll transport back my Kadabra. I hit enter!" ZZZZZZZZtt! The PokéBall vanishes as another appears where the one dissappered. "Thank you Prof Oak, Thank you so much!I gotta start training for my battle so, I'll talk later today I'm sure..Good-bye!" Trunks says, hanging the phone up. "Good-bye" Oak says just asThe screen goes blank. "An Eevee..AT Level 35...Wow, somebody's mad they left there Eevee out! Well Eevee, I choose you!" Trunks says releasing Eevee. He brings the Thunderstone over to Eevee and touches it's fur with it. He flies back as Eevee grows into a Jolteon. "JOlt-eon.Jolt,Jolt!" "Jolteon, I am going to nickname you...Starfire. Hmm. I wonder what attacks you have. Maybe Dexter has the answer..." Trunks takes out his Pokédex and "scans" or points the eye of it at Starfire. :: Jolteon; An Electric Eeveelution. It's hair-raising electric attacks can cause thunderstorms.Attacks #1:Pin Missile. Attacks #2:Thunder Bolt. Attacks # 3: Double Kick Attacks #4:Agility:: "Cool...Alright Starfire! We're gonna train hard for the PokéMon League! Let's go train!" "Jolt!Eon,Jolt-eon!!!" Trunks gets dressed and heads downstairs with his newfound friend Jolteon following behind,along with Arcanine. They head toward a grassy field. "Okay guys! Starfire, you will take on Bulbsaur,Bulbasaur Go!" "Bulba-saur.Saur!" "Jolt, Jolt-eon" Bulbasaur begins to attack with a Vine Whip and wraps Jolteon. But Jolteon gets free by using it's pins as needles. Bulbsaur then uses his razorleaf, butthe Jolteon counter attacks and doges with agility before Double kicking BUlbasaur. Bulbasaur hops up and nails Starfire with a leech seed. t sucks away the Jolteons power but Jolteon uses his thunderbolt attack to knock out Bulbsaur. "Bulb-ah...a." "Bulbasaur good try, return.And now, go Kingler. You will face Arcanine." "Kookie,kie,kie!Kookie,Kookie,kookie!" Kingler says. 'Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!Arr,Arr canine!" Goes Arcanine. Arcanine uses a Fire blast to hit Kingler, but Kingler retailiates with a Crab hammer and hyper beam, knocking Arcanine to the ground. Arcanine gets up only to get stomped by Kingler. Arcanine uses a bite to bite Kingler, but Kingler throws Arcanine to the ground before missing a Bubblebeam. Arcanine uses his agility and nails a flamethrower on kingler. Kingler stops most the fire by using his king-sized claws as shields. Arcanine throws one more fire blast before collapsing. Kingler uses his Bubblebeam once again to put out the blast before stomping Arcanine to make sure he's out. "Kookie,kie,kie!" "Good try Arcanine, return! Kingler, excellent! But return.Okay last battle, Marowak, go, Happy go!" "Marowak.Wak,Wak.Maro!" "Frrrrrrrrrrieeeeeeeeee!" Marowak uses his Bonemerang to crash Butterfree to the ground. He then uses Boneclub but misses the Butterfree as it flies into the air. Marowak continues to use his Boneclub to swat Butterfree, but to know prevail. Butterfree uses a Psybeam to knock down Marowak. He uses Gust ,but Marowak uses his massive strength to withstand it. Butterfree tries to finish it with Sleep Powder, but Marowak uses his Bonemerang to act like a fan and blow the powder onto Butterfree who falls down asleep. "Marowak!Maro.Wak!" "Good try guys,return" Trunks returns Butterfree, and Marowak. "Starfire, you need to got to the PokéMOn Center with the rest of these guys, so hop into the Pokéball." Trunks says as he return the Jolteon. Trunks goes to the PokéMon Center and hands his PokéMon in as he looks at the Pokémon League poster there. "Hmmm." Trunks thinks before Nurse Joy calls him over to get his Pokéballs. He gets them and leaves toward Indigo Stadium. He arrives at the front desk and makes sure he registered. He asks the receptionist if he entered. " I'm not sure Sir, please give me your PokéDex and it's ID Number" She says. "Okay, here's my Pokédex" Trunks hands her his green PokéMon Encyclpedia. "Myy PokéMon Identification Number is 34269.I have 2 Badges.And I'm on the Rock Field.." "Well everything checks out but just to make sure I would like you to push the button to stop the light and whatever quadrant it lands on, it should be Rock if your story checks out." The receptionist tell Trunks. "Okay,no problem!" Trunks presses it and it lands on the..Rock Field! "Does that prove I'm registered in the 0-6 Bracket?" "Yes it does Sir, Here is your PokéDex back." She hands him hisPokédex. "See you when the regionals begin." The Receptionist says as Trunks leaves toward his hotel. When he arrives at his room in the Indigo Hotel, he logs onto to the PokéMon League HQ and checks on about Meeko, his trainer opponent. He falls over in his chair in pure shock. Starfire and Arcanine look at him from the bed. "Meeko's a girl, and I think her popularity isn't gonna give me a good responce from the crowd..." Trunks gets up and logs off before looking at his PokéDex and learning some things about Rock, Grass and Water PokéMon. TBC
